Just had another talk about the news, we are discussing the racist incident on the French underground.

H: you know I am very racist. There are far too many black presenters on TV.
V: I am definitely not racist H.
H: I would not join any racist groups mind you. And one of my friends is black.
You always invalidate my views on things and you know I am right.
V: just because I disagree with you does not mean I invalidate your view. I am entitled to my views too.
H: not really
V: Are you sexist too?
H: (thinks) I do not think so
V thinks Nice to know

There was plenty of expletives in H language. I hope these statements which V hears for the first time are just for effect. But the sentiments make V feel physically sick. V believes in higher spirit not race, sex or religious belief. H never ceases to test Vs limits, V kept her cool. The screaming banshee did not appear. H is entitled to his views but I feel sad he has them. How limiting. Did I really marry a racist and why did I not know?

H is also fattist, he says all fat people are stupid and lazy. He says people who live on benefits should be stopped from receiving benefits and immigrants should be sent home. People who have tattoos are common and vulgar. Or so he says.

I just keep thinking 100% of what they say. I do hope so.
