Hi Gan, I think that might be an idea. Dip a toe in the water. Is there anything your H always wanted to do, or a hobby he wanted to take up? Or maybe something related to his profession or industry? I'm not sure if you work in a similar field, but if you do maybe something organised by a professional body...Or maybe just a joke that you saw that he may like?

You know him best Gan, and what he might enjoy. I think the main thing is to keep it light and just say you saw it and thought he might be interested - not actually suggest going to it or anything - just sharing the info.
