So the new man in my life has been texting me at least three times a day. Usually checking in to see how my day is going. I usually wait and respond to his texts.
As you know we both work shift work. He was off as of Wed. I am off starting today. although he's been texting frequently he hadn't mentioned getting together so yesterday in response to one of his texts I said. " I'm making plans for my days off so let me know if you want to get together" ( we only have Fri or Sat where we are both off) He replied..." Ok I will let you know" I said ok....it's Friday tomorrow so I will go ahead and make my own plans for the weekend." He texted back and said " hey wait how about Sat? I have a friends bday party Friday. You're not upset with me are you?" I said. " no I'm not upset. I'm just letting you know if you want to see me you will need to ask and plan ahead or I will be busy." I said " I'm an old fashioned modern girl " lol he said " ok got it...amazing old fashioned modern girl."
I got the impression he is used to making his plans like most guys...last min. Assuming he was going to see me without asking or planning. I am keeping my eyes wide open and not ignoring any red flags.
I was at a retirement party for two coworkers. All the girls wanted to see a pic of my new date. They were very impressed. Lol They are all happy for me and glad I have moved forward from my ex.
