And this is where a discussion about continental vs maritime climates can ensue. UK very much maritime and kept atypically warm (yes I mean warm) for the latitude by the Gulfstream.
Overnight -10c is not that unusual but its typically only for a day or two. It has hit -twenty something but thats quite rare in the southern UK.
A balmly 9c outside today though and beautiful blue skies.
Doesn't seem very much wrong with S1 but rules are rules and he's been his usual cute self - much better than the meetings I had booked today he's having his nap now so I'll see how that goes. Contemplating a nap myself though I probably should check my emails.
Hope you are all having very pleasant days (used loosely to cover all time zones)

S1 is ok. he's not quite himself and didnt eat or drink anywhere near as much as usual. He was a little bit sick at one point so he was right to stay home.
Having said that he was mostly fine so we had a lot of hugs and played around quite a lot. I had a nice day with him especially as i dont often get long periods of 1 on 1 time with him. He really is very cute.
wife texted once in the afternoon, just a 'how is S1?'
I replied with a friendly update and then sent another update after the kids were in bed. didnt get a response to either but didnt expect one.
trying not to dwell on the fact that she spent all day with OM1 and that given previous similar days, she is most likely out with him tonight. Based on how she was dressed this morning she is certainly looking to make an impression, whether thats because things are good or because she is trying to heat things back up i dont know, but the effort was obvious (and something that sorely lacked in our M)
Enough of that, I have papier mache plans with the kids tomorrow and that is something to look forward to.

It does involve balloons. Whether the end result in anything discernible is a different matter - a moose head is certainly beyond the available skill levels

Jim...your thread seems to have descended into mayhem! I for one will be disappointed if a moose (complete with anchors) isn't produced in papier mache. Sorry to hear about your W all dressed up. But that may be just the occasion. No need for your mind to leap to the fact it must be about OM. I know, we all do that, but who knows hey? My H has been in touch. He got made redundant yesterday and has finally told me our R is over. Need to formulate a response today if you have any pearls of wisdom to offer....T :-)
