I think I've earned a dram or two of Laphroaig tonight
Well now I'm going to have to throw in. I'm a scotch man myself. On the Isle of Islay, you will find the scotch drinker's scotch. It's no place to start, but you will eventually graduate to there. Now on the Isle, there are three characteristically peaty, smoky libations. When I go to the garden center and pass the peat moss, I waft it and think Islay. I mean no offense Kieran -- if you like Laphroig, drink Laphroig, but I find (and maybe it's just me) Laphroig to be the least of the three. Move on to Lagavulin, it makes Laphroig taste like kerosene. And then there's Bowmore. I have a 26 year old Bowmore that is the epitome of Islay.
I know! Kieran - your sitch is like the 'Reduced Shakespeare Company' compared to our 'Full Works of Shakespeare' sitches! Many of us learn DBing over a period of time - but you're having a crash course from some of the wisest people on this site.
There's a lot to take on board, and you're doing really well my friend......:-)

Feeling slighly hung over but good. One of my friends who was camping also works with W and texted her to ask if something was wrong, because normally we do these kinds of things together (I had only told two friends at that point). Kind of ruined the complete uncertainty of my going dark, but I had a fun time anyways.

Yeah, be careful what you tell the guys.
It is not about what you feel should work in your M. It is about doing the work that gets the right results. Do what works!
