H often didn't cook leaner cuts of meat for me, he also used to dish up chips (oven fryes) most night when he cooked. H often cited money saving measures, but had $ to buy choloclate and alcohol. Let's just say high kj food and desserts isn't help.

Last trip we went on he was trying to drink 2 bottle of wine per night. A lot of empty kj.

Getting there with flue, back to work sat. Grumbles a whole 8 days or so at home. Makes me lazy. Wondering if any one missed me! We shall see huh?

Went and collected the bin, far enought to be a trailer job.
Had home killed meat for tea and made enough I don't need to cook tomorrow. Just nuke and go.

Ggrass, I seriously doubt the mental image I have of where you live is anything like the reality but in entertains me smile

Glad your feeling better and well enough to go back to work.

As for the weight loss, sounds like you've done a really good job with that and avoiding the empty calories is always a good plan (not that i can really comment with my addiction to bread products)

and V, 26,000!?!?!?!?!?!?! I doubt i get 2600 steps.

Seriously I guess I could be more specific but it's better I'm not.

What matters is I like it, and according to h and s17 I payed a heavy price for it.

Unfortunately most men seem to think if a woman has her own stuff her own wants needs and goals and works for them it's not ok. Says lot about how far feminism has to go on equality. Yeah, I watched a show on feminism this week, but what they said made sense. How even tho equality is supposely real often women's lives are defined by their role for serving men, raising children cleaning home being a great wife. Not saying those things are important. Listen to a women eulogy and a mans. Mans success is defined by deferent statements. The last funeral they talked of her being a great wife, great carer etc. They didn't give her credit for providing for her family even tho her h didn't.

I'm mean I could do better but work and farm required compromise. I cannot work ful time and want to spend all day and every spare hour I have doing work without having time for my hobby. It's why I wanted land. Everything in life's a balancing act, do any of us get the focus 100% all the time. Nope.

I am how ever sure there are far worse out there than me, who achieve far less and depend less on them selves and more in what others can do.

Gg

Independence is key to mental health. I really believe this. Whether we as individuals make our own world financially is one thing, but as wives, husbands, mothers, fathers daughters and sons we need our independence of thought Irrespective of our financial situation. Each contribution is valuable to the life of the family or partnership.

Gg, sensible rational partners know this.

My downfall is cheese

Did I mention cheeeese with wine, bread, olives, celery, Apple, chutney

Cheese on pizzas, in sauces

cauliflower cheese

Cheesecake

Stilton, Brie, cheddar, Wensleydale, goats, buffalo mozzarella,....

Hmmmmm

Cheeeese with Sainsbury special selection biscuits and port

Did I say I liked cheese?

Why do I get half way and then forget where I was going?

Went to coffe at mates. Her hubby is rhc cousin. stalking plans in place ok so it's called casual meet up at a possible event rhc might be at. Well might is very likely within a small drive to his house. Might just have to throw out some ideas and whoola?

Mmmm naw, I'm guessing the squirre is scared to death, by me just blundering out and calling him. grin

Oh well lets hope some of the, missed me. wink not feeling super sparkly well, but a week, of sick leave and I have to go back. While I still have some, I don't want to use everything. If my head still spins next week I'm going back to a dr.

Morning Gg

Wouldnt worry I walk into the kitchen and forget what I wanted in there, usually while peering in a cupboard (w apologies to Bill Bryson). Unless of course its cheese, mmmm, cheese....no...evil cheese shoo.

Cant imagine you're that scary a person Gg, animated, driven and sassy oh yes, scary, nah!

Hate going back to work after being sick, not quite as bad as going back after a holiday (mind you my last holiday was 7+ years ago so thats a distant memory) but still not fun. Not feeling 100% and working ..meh.

Loud, sparkly, in your face, blunt (h always said I needed tact) these days add who gives a fig, better the gossips might think better I like it.

Gunna just live it up.
However one of the younger dudes from work, only a couple of years older than s17, said blokes do like to be asked and it will stand out as something different. That's why I was stunned it bombed, with rhc.

There is 2 I've been pushing, rhc and the testicle bloke. Mainly the second cause he just never smiles, never shaved was definitely not really looking after himself.
2 weeks and it's work besties party, actually one week!

Live it up - are we on the Crocodile Dundee soundtrack now (Mental As Anything), no, ooook music nerd mode off wink

Well speaking for me I would have no issues being asked out by a Woman (If I was free and dating of course). I shall make a note of the party to mercilessly find out what happened afterwards!
