Survived the rollercoster by getting off it

Oh wow...I am on a ride of a life time right now.

I met a someone today for a coffee date. It went really well lasting three hours. We are going on a second date tomorrow night.

After that I went shopping and was starving so I went out for a bite at a local restaurant. I sat at the bar and there were a couple of other women sitting and having a drink and dinner too. We started chatting and they said they were a part of a group of women 16-20) that meet up and go out together. They took my number and me theirs. So I can be come part of their group.

This is such a gift. I am happy on my own but would love the option of having a BF to go out with or friends a couple times per week. I had such a great experince today...feeling very blessed. So glad I had the courage to go out.

This I'm sort of doing with married friends. And hooking up with a couple of others each week. We just have dinner and light social conversations.

One of my work mates her hubby really has some great views on stbx. Talks of how bloody selfish he was, which was my complaint. Even as man the fact he see it as selfish warms my heart. One of those random topics that come up.
We have fun sometimes I come home early sometimes late. But that is ultimately my choice. If I go and they leave and I get talking to others they go and I stay. If not and I leave they are fine. NO DATES AS YET, but that's coming!
