I was just about to go out the door with the kids when WAW asks if she can drop us off and pick us up later so she can have the car. 'Is that a problem?'

'Yes', I said. 'We might want to go somewhere else.'

I think that surprised her. I don't know where she was thinking of going but OM doesn't live too far away. It may just have been shopping but I thought no, it's my time, you'll have to wait.
