It's good to see you engaging with people on here Jim. I feel your hurt and loved your letter too. Fighting back the tears myself due to my own situation and reading about yours.

I also have a pipe story. Years ago I cut through an old back boiler pipe thinking it was all dry and safe to do so. It was connected to a old water tank in the roof. Luckily daft lass was around and was able to put her finger on the hole while I went into the roof and shoved a carrot (top empergency plumbing tip alert) into the down pipe.

If your house is now 'too big' and its difficult to exorcise painful memories, perhaps you could rent it out and rent another for yourself.

And in the UK, a vest is an undershirt. Not sure what a singlet is. Also not sure what I qualify for: coming up to 8 months. Urgh!

Oh, and there's a forum for NMMNG. I registered recently and expressed interest in an online group.
