I dont have an issue with you getting a vest, Gan whatayasay?

My google history is definitely eclectic but I'd show it to a vicar so thats something wink

The bad mood thing is interesting as its how I'd got to with s but never w, in actuality one had been caused by deterioaration in the other but w only saw the issues between s and i as being an issue, never the distancing between her and I.

Everyone needs space its how we relay that and how we react when others cross into it thats the difficult part, something Ive learned about myself and started to tackle.

You'll get there matey smile

Hmmm...I think a vest would come after tshirt, say 9 months? That way you can accumulate the gear in layers. Unless, you UK guys use "vest" when I would say "singlet"? A singlet could probably work for 4.5 months. Would that do, Jim? 3 months is probably one of those rubber braclet things. Not sure what colour. 12 months - sweater?

I don't know, edz. The vicar may just think that you can't spell. Nor can a lot of people if my attempt to figure out what you're on about is anything to go by. 1 hit "musterbation", 12,000 hits "musterbation".

Blast this transcontinental description of clothing!!!!!!!

I think you get the rubberband bracelet thingy just for registering. 3 months you get socks.

So anyway my day took an interesting turn. I accidentally drilled through one of the central heating pipes and had a reasonable sized horizontal fountain jetting accross my kitchen while the whole heating system emptied onto my, newly mine, kitchen floor.

A couple of hundred litres of water (for ease call it 100 gallons) later and my kitchen is dry (ish), the pipe is fixed and the wall is patched (ish). All in time to collect my kids for my weekend with them.

Didnt really get that much sorted but there are now no pictures of my wife anywhere up in the house so I can now choose when to torture myself smile

Though at one point today it did feel like i was being waterboarded.........

Jim! What a nightmare!! You did very well to get all of that sorted out ready to pick up the kids.

I'd still be sitting there with my finger on the hole shouting heeeelp!

Have a good weekend with the kids. Do you have any nice plans?

In fairness I did shout help (to the plumber who fixed the pipework and did most of the patching.) I concentrated on containing and cleaning up the small flood that occurred.

I was quite proud of my britishness when it happened as my actual response was to look at it for about 10 seconds before calmly saying 'Drat, thats inconvenient'

I find the whole pipe story hilarious. For comedic effect, I like to imagine you drenched from head to toe. Sorry.

You guys do remember my dog food story right, those buggas chewed right thru the damn pipe and left the water running for 4 hours.

Not good in tanks, but the whole place smelled wet dog from under the foundation for a week.

Jim I theink purple bed socks, Sounds fitting to me.

Ps, just rescued the bottle opener from the biatch, she was sharpening her fangs on it! crazy grin

Drag no bottle opener now that's inconvient. wink

Have to argue with the drat comment surely...

"Hmmm, now that shouldn't have happened!"

Sorry to hear you had issues but sounds like you did well to get it all done.

Yes, I had the same picture in my mind as Mozza. Water jetting out of a pipe at chest height with the force of a fire hose and Jim standing in front of it.

I'm sure it wasn't quite that dramatic, but Jim, I'm sure with a bit of embellishment...it makes a good story!

It's good to see you engaging with people on here Jim. I feel your hurt and loved your letter too. Fighting back the tears myself due to my own situation and reading about yours.

I also have a pipe story. Years ago I cut through an old back boiler pipe thinking it was all dry and safe to do so. It was connected to a old water tank in the roof. Luckily daft lass was around and was able to put her finger on the hole while I went into the roof and shoved a carrot (top empergency plumbing tip alert) into the down pipe.

If your house is now 'too big' and its difficult to exorcise painful memories, perhaps you could rent it out and rent another for yourself.

And in the UK, a vest is an undershirt. Not sure what a singlet is. Also not sure what I qualify for: coming up to 8 months. Urgh!

Oh, and there's a forum for NMMNG. I registered recently and expressed interest in an online group.
