Hello ocean friends!

It is time for a new thread and I want to start by posting the first paragraph of D10's essay for school. Her teacher told me that she has an amazing talent with imagery (and I'm not altering any punctuation or words):

"Below the surface of the water, sharks bigger than boats circled a sunken ship like the second hand on a clock. The murky water held secrets that could never be told. Stingrays and fish kept a distance away from the sharks because they had death written all over them like grafitti on the ground."

I hope to goodness that Mr. Wonderful, my fish friend, didn't feel the same way her fish did...

Living the ocean dream...

Nothing new to journal this afternoon, so you'll have to wait--maybe through the weekend, as D10's big birthday party is this weekend. Mr. Wonderful is a part of the party.

I think we'll watch a different type of movie, like Bend it Like Beckham (which is beckoning).

Night to all!

Betsey
