YES! My cats are my kids! One is a very young and spry 15 years old and the other is three months shy of his 1 year birthday!

Part of my excitement in this move was because I realized my bedroom doesn't have any windows (so I can sleep until noon on Saturdays with no sunlight to wake me up!!!) but then I realized my cats are barnacles with co-dependency issues and sleeping with the door shut probably won't be allowed. ROFL!

This morning I had the bathroom door closed but not latched (FIRST MISTAKE) and ended up with one on my toes meowing at me, and the other sitting in the door way to see how the party was going.

The kitten has been much more skittish about the changes than I figured he would be -- he's been darting under the bed to hide at any stray noise, and sleeping huddled under the bed covers -- but I anticipate he'll adjust well.

The elderly one is fine and dandy as long as I'm around; she's brave and bold. smile
