I know the feeling. I have a big house too. By now I would have the tree up inside and lights all over outside. Been two years and I dont feel like it. I did 3 years ago. But I luvs Christmas I may get the urge to nuke the place with lights and adornments. Unfortunately I stay there weekends only. So I dont see the need. Except my neighbor asked me me to.

I made it! I made it! My Christmas spirit is on point!
I force fed myself some Christmas cheer, and it worked to pull me out of a slump. My house looks like a winter wonderland of ornate decoration and whimsical cheer. I had a friend of mine help me out with the 9 large totes (yes, 9 large totes!) and bigger items hanging out in my storage room. The north pole ain't got nothing on us!
On top of getting in the swing, I was lucky enough to start a new tradition this year. I have always wanted to see the Nutcracker Ballet. I always thought it was so cool, that some of my friends went every year to experience it. Well, guess who is sitting front row at our states longest running production? This guy and his daughter!!!
