I don't like giving up what small bargaining chip I have right now. I see it as leverage. I'm not comfortable doing the easy thing for Smokey and just signing it off when he isn't exactly making things easy for me with the other, more important stuff.
I'm angry that I'm being pressured to make nice and do the right thing here so that he feels less pressure again. Yet, I'm still the one carrying all this other pressure.
