I agree w/what Life Twists suggests. Since he said he had someone share the rent in the new place, I would request the name of the person and how long that person has been living there. Since he's requesting the wills of your parents, I would do the same for his. (If you want to go that route, although I do not believe you should have to provide the wills for your parents because it doesn't have a thing to do with the current day to day operations.)
The more you bring to light some of the things he's done, the quicker he may back down. Right now, he's going after you and making you look like the bad guy. The shoe should be on the other foot because he's the one that walked out first. You didn't abandon him or the children...he did.
