I do have one question and this is something else that may need to be factored into your budget. Won't you have to have your car inspect in the NY? If so, the mirror that your D20 broke will need to either be repaired or replaced.
You've got to sit down, create a spreadsheet and work up a budget. You have to stick to it until you get yourself out of the financial hole you are in right now. D20 may have to get a second job and help out financially until you are over the hump or she goes off to school. You can't have your car payment and rent lapse. You were sitting pretty good there for a bit and then all of sudden you are now in the hole. Do you get paid every week or bi-weekly?
Sit quietly, the answers will reveal themselves when you least expect them to. The past is gone, the present is a gift and you need to focus on today, allow the future to reveal itself when it is ready.
