I haven't posted in awhile but our situation has not changed a whole lot. W was unable to move out due to financial reasons. Part of me was happy, and part was sad because now it will take much longer to get through this since she won't have the chance to be alone. It seems like one week my W is great and our R is going well, then the next she is angry and unhappy. I often find myself making the mistake of basing my happiness and moods on how she treats me. The other night she said some really mean, hurtful things to me for about an hour. This time I just mainly listened to her instead of responding and it worked out well. She didn't completely go into a downward spiral and rewrite history as much as she usually does. There is something to be said for not fueling the fire. I can't believe how long this is going on though! 3 years next week! We had about 8 months that were good, and she said she was happy with me and our M. Then BAM, started all over again.
