I feel like I wasn't more social because I think I somehow lost myself in my marriage. I think H did the same thing. We always felt like we had to do everything together. So, as a result, we ended up doing most things together just the two of us or with his kids. Our lives were just same old, same old.
Because I had lost my sense of self, I think I also may have gotten bored and depressed. I think H was the same way. I think we really got bored with each other and our marriage. We are also both in jobs that we hate and that are not fulfilling, which also contributed to our issues. I think life just really got in the way of our marriage, and we let it happen.
