Dealing with WAW part 6

[pilot]

My W facetime'd with the kids this morning, and I did not say anything this time around. Later in the morning, I got a text from her saying to keep an eye on the kids. She does not think they are sick, but she said she had to go to the urgent care this morning with an awful sore throat. She said it was not strep so they should be ok. I replied 'ok, I hope you feel better' She said thanks. Then she sent a few more texts about various kid related stuff.

So I decided to do something nice. I went to the store, and bought all the ingredients to make homemade chicken noodle soup. I also got a bag of sore throat drops and a get well balloon to tie to the bag. Saw a really pretty pot of Mums, so i grabbed that as well.

I made the soup and got everything put into a box. On my way to pick the kids up from school, I swung by her place. Since she had gone through a bunch of effort to keep me from being there, and she was home at the time, I did not knock. I left everything on the front steps, and drove off. Then I sent the following text.

Me: Check outside your front door.

W: I just saw! Thank you so much!

Me: Welcome

30 minutes later...

W: The soup is very good, thank you

She then sent a few other non related texts.

I replied to one "I almost got you two of those flowers, but I was not sure you would catch the humor in it:

Haha, if SHE gets it, I will fill you guys in...
