Funny, I didn't think of it as a promotion. Basically it is a chance to buy into the company and then I do get money off of that. So passive income is great, just wish it was more. Anyway, my boss was looking at the criteria that they look at to offer you a partnership and he may not be invited to be a partner.
He has been there longer than me, so yes,it is pretty cool to get an invitation. Lots of new tax stuff would be involved since we operate in every state as well as Canada. Hopefully,this will all work out the way it should. If I could figure out a way to make this work, I could retire in 7 years and do whatever from there and probably still keep my ownership. Things to consider. Opinions welcome.
