Dealing with WAW part 6

Interesting day. I had planned on taking the kiddos out for a boat ride today. My W sent me a text early this morning asking me to let her know when I was leaving here (about 45 minute drive) to come get the kids from her. I sent her a message when I was leaving, and she sent me one saying ok, meet her at Cracker Barrel. Geez...still determined to not have me go to her house. Anyways, I get there, get the kids' stuff, get the kids packed up. Conversation was pleasant and happy, but brief. Add a brief hug in, and that was the extent of our interaction today.

The boat trip was a lot of fun, and the kids had a blast. I sent a few random pictures of the kids through out the day to W. She would reply cute, etc.

Then this evening, I get a text from her asking if the kids had fun. she also wanted to tell me that she saw my fav. ice cream (which is hard to find) was in the store she was in, and it was on sale. I replied the kids had a great time, and she should buy the ice cream and make a milk shake out of it. I then sent another couple of picts, including one with me and the kids, as well as about 4 videos. She replied to all of them. She then replied she thinks she forgot to give me some medicine for one of the kids, so she will get it to me. We then engaged in a back and forth about stuff. Nothing heavy.

And that was that.
