You are making such progress...don't let this bump in the road slow you down! Act as if things are ok. You took care of yourself by not going to get the things. Put the responsibility for the boys getting their things squarely on his shoulders. Ask him again nicely if he can bring them to the boys. Explain that you don't have time to come and get them. It's worth a shot.
Remember too that you just had a great vacation! Focus on the positives and let the negatives slide by a bit...maybe H just needed a little space after the closeness of a family vacation....
