Just looked up the number of cloudy days in Upstate New York. Freaking out again.

I know that Vitamin D has been shown to improve symptoms, but I DO NOT WANT TO BE STUCK IN NEW YORK and Depressed with all this responsibility.

Dammit. I hate this. Why couldn't this job be in Key West?

Debilitating, horrible, awful, suicidal depression. It's gotten better as I've gotten older...but, it's still an issue and D20 seems to have inherited the whatever. Hers is just beginning.

I think I'd feel better if I had a doctor in place, with a proven track record for treating severe SAD, before we move.

Yes for sure! Have a doctor in place

Also just thought I would add my 2cents, are you still considering bringing your mom, she is so mean to you. I can't see the that making things better in the big picture?

Naw, I don't think mom is going.

Turns out her most recent man/obsession...his wife died about a month ago and he is planning on coming up in October. I'm thinking she is gonna stick around to have her alone time with him.

She is just full of positives though!! I chose NOT to go to Kohl's yesterday because I didn't have the gas money. Called and told them that I would call the human resources person on Monday to discuss whether I could leave the door open to a position in NY. I have a student to tutor all week...was thinking that I need to meet with the atty on Monday, tutor, make a decision, etc...I got the full disapproving parent thing.

Ok, feel a bit better...there is less SAD in areas with lots of snow. This area has LOTS of snow. Makes sense, the sun reflects on the snow.

They called and made an official offer. Offering $2,500 more along with a $2,500 travel allowance.

Congratulations! Now, make a list of the things that you need to do before relocating.

The first two things that come to my mind is when are you telling your h and what are you going to do about the house you are living in?

You've got a lot to do and hopefully your daughters will help to pull things together.

Sit quietly, the answers will reveal themselves when you least expect them to.
The past is gone, the present is a gift and you need to focus on today, allow the future to reveal itself when it is ready.
