Advice: my WAW is hiking and camping right now. This is a 180 she always wanted to do (hiking ) and has been bragging and talking about going all week while I have the kids this weekend. Should I be polite when she returns "hey welcome back! How was it? Did you have fun?" Or do I just say nothing except "glad you're back, here are the kids" in my chipper voice. Thanks!
