Word of advice to you. DBing isn't an easy process and there are no shortcuts. It all starts with you. You're probably dating or looking for someone to fill the hole that you feel that you have, but no amount of sarcasm or joking will hide the problems that you brought to the relationship. Without changing those, they will resurface again but with a new person and you'll find yourself here again. Take it for what it's worth. Good luck to you.

I try to read all your posts and as I was reading here I saw how this tale unfolded.
Let me just say that you already had my respect for your no-nonsense approach to helping the people who turn up on this board.
But today, I saw your softer side, even if it was unintended.
The fact that you continued to reach out to this man who needed help, over a month after he dropped off the planet, after he called you names, was sarcastic, and didn't ever really seem to take your advice to heart---well, you just went up even more in my estimation.
If anybody wonders what your purpose is for being on this board, it's very clear in this thread.
