Kat,

My grandma was a bird lover too. When she passed away in 1992, my mom gave me a book on birds I had given her for her birthday. I am not a true bird aficianado, but I do enjoy seeing them and occasionally have to seek out something that I've seen.

Like you, I associate the birds that make themselves clearly visible with my grandma. Funny you mention this... this spring/summer, the birds are very vocal. I had noticed it before D20 got home from college and thought to myself, "shut up already!" frown That's probably because of the dog barking in the house behind mine, and I get tired of yapping. When D20 is relaxing, she takes a book to the back patio and reads. She had commented how loud they've been this year. After a few days, I noticed that they were quiet and commented on it, when she said back to me, "I miss them! I've come to enjoy their warbling and find myself not being able to concentrate without them." LOL

My psychic friend says we all have spiritual tokens. For some people it's feathers. Others are coins. And here is a story about my friend Brent's tokens (this will make you cry). We just have to take the time to ask for them and then acknowledge them when they arrive.

LOL for the longest time, until I got the birds, my grandma used to screw with my TV and my sister's lamps. Even my XH knew this. After having our TV repaired for the 3rd time he said as he was plugging it back in, "May, please find another way to talk to Bets. This is getting really expensive." She accommodated his plea. cool

Hugs, sweet thing!

Betsey
