Most of us do the mind reading thing. I find out a lot when I do that I set myself up for a big kick in the rear when I find out I was out in left field. It's best to not guess what is really happening. I prayed about this and got a loud message, "You don't need to know and you don't want to know. Just know you'll know when you should know." That's the best advice from God Almighty!
