I mean, is there a way you can feel sorry for both of them? What does It say about her that she is spending her time with a 30 year old man who left his kids and doesn't seem to be a very engaged dad at the moment, and not only doesn't have his own home but lives with HER parents! How is that attractive to a young girl? Does she feel like that is the best she can do? Is the fact that he's simply older than her the draw? What is her sense of self-worth? What do her friends say? And the fact that her parents seem to be condoning it also says something about their dynamic, don't you think?
