I have been to IC. It's not that I'm not open. As a matter of fact, my education is in academic research in psychology. My opinion is an informed one. There's actually good research that good self help books can be very, very effective (although that's actually not what I'm using to deal with my anger).

We must have different definitions of backsliding. As I've mentioned a few times, I have not acted out in anger in a month (since I began focusing more on this issue). That is the essence of anger management, you have the feelings, recognize and acknowledge them but don't act on them. I often post here as a form of journaling and processing and it actually helps prevent me from acting inappropriately. That as well as several trusted friends who I reach out to regularly and help balance and calm me.

P.S. Please don't take my disagreement as I don't respect your opinion. I have always appreciated your input on my threads. On this particular point I just disagree.
