Fathers day 2014 done. Not the best. Tired from lacrosse and driving yesterday and doing it again today, i got an hour in with my dad at 8a and brought him starbucks and a canteloupe and card. H i wasnt going to see and the kids were asleep so i got a card and some training gels signed it "happy fathers day from A and the boys."
Was hard to find a card that wasnt overboard on the "youre a great dad" sentiment. I settled for Happy Fathers Day...and many mower. It felt accurate.
H texted me that he wanted to take s14 to a family party i hadnt known about until it was discussed by moms at the baby shower yesterday. I said "you can wake him; remember he needs about an hour to wake and shower." H sai ok have him ready by 12:30. I said i am in annapolis and h said ok. I also told him there was a card and something in the mail area for him. He never came.
When i got home at 5:30 s14 didnt know anything about any of it.
So thats our fathers day for him.
He texted me midday yo ask if s16 was playing much and how well. I said yes and great.
(I always think he's great im his mom lol)
Thats it for today. I did a minimum job but survived and have more to do, vacuum quick and guitar group, then wine and sleep.
