I applied for two more jobs today. Still debating changing jobs but don't want to just jump from pan to pan. Why stay where my soul is stifled?

I had a conversation the other day with a gal that was über religious, not that I meant to go there. Anyhow she said she didn't need to be happy in life since she can be happy when she dies. I need less to say don't agree. I don't think God wants you to be unhappy in life. Ayway I just didn't get into it, but thinking about it has kept bothering me. Sad that she thinks she has to live that way.

That is a sad way of looking at it and that's not what the bible teaches. She hasn't had very good instruction.

I know you aren't religious, but you are very spiritual and it's not that big of a difference really. The teaching is that God didn't put us on the earth 'to be happy', he put us here to live for him and through him and that inevitably leads to happiness and contentment. The ultimate glory and happiness will come after death but that doesn't mean we shouldn't or can't be happy on earth as well. As long as you strive to understand God's will for your life, you will ultimately be happy.

Yeah, I know the concepts but living them is a whole other ball game! LOL

Other than keeping the financial aspect as steady as it can be, there is absolutely no reason to keep working where you feel like you can't grow. What kind of jobs did you apply for? Are they more creative? Have you looked more into life coaching? I seriously think you would be excellent!

I actually am doing something rating websites. Did my first one today. Pretty easy just don't know how many I can do a day. The other one was working for a relationship coach. So we will see.

Betsey gave me some names to connect with on the life coach front but I haven't gotten any response from either of them yet. I am doing some reading and checking out various places to get certified. You don't have to be but I am sure it would help. Most of those courses take place over months and cost a pretty penny. I will need to save for it.

I am going to keep moving forward and looking at options, multiple little jobs might be the trick right now. smile

Anyone up for a 28 day soul cleanse with me? I will post the affirmation and the task for the day. Follow along if you are up for a change.

Day 1: affirmation of the day; my evaluation of myself is not who I am. Repeat this throughout the day.

Periodically take deep breaths, visualizing life force energy filling your lungs and body.

There are 3 different tasks you choose which level. Write down where you are in life. Include your health, relationships, finances, career, creativity and spiritual fulfillment. Then write down your intention for the next 28 days.

If you want the more effort tasks, let me know. There will be a new one tomorrow.

Day 2 affirmation: I honor my commitments to myself and others.

Become more aware of the air around you, the breeze against your face, the way the clouds move or even how a leaf floats through the air.

Task: commit to take on one empowering task a day. Examples, walk 15 inputs each drayden utter for 30 minutes, drinking 6 glasses of water. You decide.
