H randomly showed up to S6 basketball practice. I have him a heads up I would be home early to take him so he didn't feel like I was ambushing him at my house since he doesn't like to be there when I am. So I felt it was better to let him know I was coming so he could choose to be there or not. So he didn't come over but showed up at practice for the last 30 minutes. Said hello. He went and sat separate with a friend he ran into. When we left he just said bye I said bye and that was it. No other interaction. It was really sad for me. Sad that we were just doing things as a family like this holding hands and going to dinner after. Now it's silence and he still can't even make eye contact with me. Ugh.

Let it go! Let it go!! I could recite that song from working in a children's hospital and hearing it all day. Think it's a sign much?

Yes but he didn't talk to him. Got in the car without saying bye - I said get out and say bye to daddy. That was it.

I thought about sending H a text to say thanks for coming but didn't know if that was pursuing so I just stayed quiet

So what do I do about this weekend. I told you all he didn't have the boys do ANYTHING for me on Mother's Day. I got a generic happy Mother's Day text.

He is taking his GF away for the weekend to a concert alone and he said 'fathers day is just another day I'll see the boys another time'

My oldest son doesn't even want to make a card. I hate making him. I do not plan on spending any money on him but I was thinking of having the boys make him a card. Do I ask him to come by tomorrow night before he leaves?
