You weren't wrong for not responding when he reached out. Dbing is for you. No contact is for you. If there are no real questions, then it isn't necessary to respond. If you are dealing with an irrational person with erractic behavior, then sometimes ANY response is met with vitrol.
You ceased your pursuing behavior and it sounds like you are doing a good job. Don't mention the 18 year old. I agree with not revealing your hand. I have an entire deck of cards at this point, and I'm not interested in showing most of them unless absolutely necessary.
