Bets,

I was thinking, death is a very sad and surreal event. It makes you think about that person and how that person not only has impacted your life, but to hear how that person has impacted the lives of others, including your loved ones.

It sounds as if your MIL had a great impact on the rest of the family. It is sad that most of that seems negative, but there is some good in this woman. No person is that negative. Look at it this way, she did have a hand in creating your Mr. W, right?

But that's not what I was thinking. What I was thinking about was the positives that come out of death, because not only does it cause reflection on the person that has passed on, but it also causes reflection of one's own life.

Mr. W and the rest of his family will go through this process. They will mourn the loss of her. Guaranteed. But as your BIL said, the family will get together and "come to pass" so to speak.

They all will reflect where they are in the their lives today. I am confident Mr. W will be thinking of you and your D's very hard these next few days. I can not guarantee what he will be thinking, but lets hope he realizes what an impact he will have on your lives if he continues the path he is on.

Meanwhile, it is very important for you to be the best Bets that you are! Yes, you are in a great position to support him. And I have no doubt that he will see the Bets that has always been there, the one with unconditional love for the man she wed.

Grins all around!!!
