Ok so LOOOOOOOONG night and day. Dr on call last night says come in even contractions are 3 min apart and have this baby. Contractions are random all night (painful but would be 4 min apart for almost 45 min then go to 25 min apart) bleeding this morning so I call back and they say go in and get cervix checked and baby monitored. Dr on call when I get there says no way, get that labor stopped......

Ummmmmmm what?! I just spent 16hrs suffering through contractions for you to decide to stop it? Spent most of the day in the hospital with them injecting me with different meds to stop contractions. H was there all day.

While in the hospital I tell him "don't take this the wrong way, oily am NOT being for you back or anything but "this" (labor/pregnancy) [censored] doing it by myself" he said "I know" and seemed almost tired. He really looked like something was wrong for about 30 min so I finally asked if he wanted me to not talk to him. He said no, I was fine.

He brings me home, does some laundry. Plays with the kids and puts them to bed. Then waters my flowers and tells me "I'll be back later" huh? What?

He said he doesn't want to me to have to get up in the middle of the night if one of the twins wakes up.

Question is............. OW is ok with H staying the night at my house????? No he is NOT sleeping in my bed but is she crazy? I would not be ok with it if I were her!

Twinmom,

Wow, you've had a pretty crazy time, and it's going to get even crazier. And so special. Try your hardest to focus on you and don't worry about the OM. I can imagine it's not easy to feel alone as you are going through this, but if you can focus on your kids and yourself, and not be distracted by the OM, you will feel better. If your H is willing to help you or stay the night, that's great if that's what you want. Don't lose sight of what you want. I hope everything goes great, and I've got my fingers crossed for you.

Devaste

Today was HORRIBLE! If something could go wrong it did. I want to tell my mother never to enter my home again and I made the mistake of calling H to vent.

Let's just go with list format....

Twins have diarrhea because my mom gave them Chinese food yesterday (I don't give them much junk food at all)
D2 WANTS to sit in the potty AFTER she has already gone, I can't physically squat down in there to sit with her

I left my (New) van yesterday so my mom could pick up the older boys from school with the twins. I get in the van today and the gas light is on (where did she go, I had 3/4 of a tank)
There is a huge dent in the front bumper from her pulling too far into the garage and hitting the fridge I have out there. Got estimate of $700 to repair

My mom put the dishes in the dishwasher away but instead of putting the plastic containers away the way I keep them she just shoved everything in the cabinet. I am only 5ft tall so hard for me to reach top shelf. I tried to get a container this evening and everything fell out hitting me in the head and I had to spend time/energy redoing everything that fell out.

I left my debit card in case of emergency, I guess $35 worth of Chinese food when I have lots in the fridge/freezer is considered an emergency.

She didn't make S13 study for a test today which he BOMBED (a 77 which is a very low C) which brought his English grade down to a 90.6 which is a B instead of the A he had. I am disappointed in both S13 and my mom

I made the mistake of calling H to vent about a few of these things, he has been ok with conversations about this kind of stuff yesterday so.......... well he seemed COLD/almost angry. Really not the mood he had left this morning in so I apologized for calling, said it was a mistake and bye. I don't know what I did wrong :-(

The twins have been DEMANDING tonight and I am just overwhelmed.

Found out H had a really bad day at work, his car is having problems and he it's REALLY REALLY REALLY bummed that he isn't going on vacation with OW and her kids tomorrow because I could have this baby anytime.

I said "you were invited on vacation with the kids" to which he looked at me weird and said "I am not going to do that"

Maybe I shouldn't have said that......

I for one give a woman in your position a bit of a pass after the week you've had. DBing while in extended labor is beyond heroic. Keep us posted. I'll be thinking of you.

Yep. A pass is *absolutely* warranted!!!

Just remember the pursuit/distance dance, twinmom. The man who is causing your pain likely isn't the one who will comfort you ... at least not when YOU want him to.

twinmom, I admire your strength and courage. I only went 4 months through my pregnancy with S8 without H, and he was back when I was 5 months pregnant, so he was "all in" during our birth/recovery.

I think you are remarkable for what you've endured. And when it comes to your strength, I think we ain't seen nothin' yet.

Take care of YOU and ALL those babies. We're behind you and thinking of you!!!
