???? What did you find out???

Sit quietly, the answers will reveal themselves when you least expect them to.
The past is gone, the present is a gift and you need to focus on today, allow the future to reveal itself when it is ready.

There had been discussions between buyer/estate agent/X regarding additional surveys being done. Concrete testing. No one thought to tell me, and neighbours called to ask what was going on. X says he didn't know that was what was happening.

However, the house was built in the 1820's of granite. they were testing for a type of concrete used in some buildings during the 1950!! No chance of them finding it.

Well, that's the explanation they have all come up with. Some of the BS I have to listen to sometimes who knows.

Last week the sale completion was imminent. Now..! No idea!

I don't know if I am more angry at them for continuing to "forget" to let me know what is going on -Estate agent is as bad as X, or they say "I thought X was going to keep you informed". I have made it quite clear numerous times I want to be kept informed directly, and why.

Or, if I am more angry at myself for letting them continue to get at me, and make me feel like the Invisible Woman.

It might be a good idea to send an email or call the Estate agent's supervisor and inform him/her that you are not being kept apprised of the situation. Dealing directly w/that person isn't working out and he should be advising both of you at the same time, via email, text, etc. He knows the situation and shouldn't be relying on your X to tell you. This is not a good business practice.
