Still recouping from my mini vaca with the kids. We had a great time. Tired, but we loved every minute of it. S said "mom, I am glad we were with you for this tournament. I wouldn't have had as much fun if we were with dad". That makes me happy and sad all at the same time.
The hearing for H's contempt motion (that he filed) isn't until the end of May. The hearing for the motion I filed is at the end of May. A month difference. I was hoping things would be settled by then. I told my attorney this was depressing. He told me to keep my chin up. Ugh.
In other news, H is traveling out of the state for work (I think it's out of state, not out of the country). He asked me to switch up some days so I get the kids all week. I love it! Of course, I will have to give up my Sunday and Monday night, but this is the first time in well over a week that I will take the kids to school for all five days! YAY! I'll take it where I can get it.
My garden is getting overrun again. We have had TONS of rain and the lily of the valley is growing like mad, but something seems to be nibbling on it. I trimmed back my evergreens but it looks like I need to trim them again if it ever dries up! There is lily of the valley growing within the evergreens that I need to clear out. It seems to be everywhere. I have some viney weed creeping through as well. I got some weed killer and killed a portion of it, so just need to get to the rest of it. I am amazed about how much I love doing it. I love pulling weeds. Good release of frustration!!!!
