"Let freedom ring, let the white dove sing Let the whole world know that today is a day of reckoning Let the weak be strong, let the right be wrong Roll the stone away, let the guilty pay it's Independence Day Roll the stone away...It's Independence day"
This song has been running through my head this morning. As I said in my previous thread, I can see good things on the horizon. I can feel the positive energy...close enough I can almost taste it. Then H happens.
I am tired of this poison and his toxic vibes. I wish I could go back and smack my 27 year old self and tell her to run and never look back.
But like I said...I can see good things on the horizon. It's getting closer. One sweet day I will get there. But these H distractions on the way are really starting to get on my nerves.
Enough already!

So I just talked to my attorney. He said H doesn't have a leg to stand on. Contempt is going directly against a specific court order. There were no specific court orders that I violated. And I have to spend money and I disclosed on my financial disclosure sheet everything that would be spent and I never deviated from it. H did. H violated a specific order. That is why he is in contempt.
My attorney also said H will not win his contempt motion, but he most CERTAINLY will not be awarded attorney's fees for pure consultation since he is proceeding pro se.
I hope my attorney knows what he is talking about.

WH, Trust your lawyer. He knows what he's talking about. Just like the jingle for State Farm..."like a good neighbor, your lawyer is there". Leave it in his hands.
Sit quietly, the answers will reveal themselves when you least expect them to. The past is gone, the present is a gift and you need to focus on today, allow the future to reveal itself when it is ready.
My attorney said he's going to request H's motion get piggybacked with our motion to save time and expense especially since H's motion will get no where. My attorney said H filed this motion as a "bargaining chip" more than a ploy to get money.
Man he is like the annoying little kid that just won't go away. What was that old WC Fields line "Go away, kid, you're bothering me."?
I hope by the end of this month things will be just about done.

Soooooo it's never a dull moment in WH land. Oh boy.
So H calls me and leaves a message. "WH please call me right away. We have a huge problem on our hands." I am thinking D is having a meltdown at soccer practice right? So I call H rolling my eyes. He answers and again says How we have a huge problem. I said what is it? He said S did something. I said what? Apparently S ordered a dune buggy online and paid for it via Paypal?? I don't know how this happened??? Apparently they got H's info and billed $1275 to S via Paypal. But it's in H's name. He called to tell me all about "our problem". Actually it's not my problem. But I listened and told H I didn't know what I could do about it. H was upset of course, but I don't know why be was talking to me about it. He showed me the paperwork he got int the mail. Apparently S somehow ordered this thing on Craigslist on April 24 while he was at H's house.
Something just doesn't sound right. My Paypal account needed to go through a credit check. S has no credit. It makes no sense.
I just listened to H. I think he has it under control but he is so dramatic he makes me laugh.

WH, You are right...how is it a "we" problem. He ordered the dune buggy while under your h's care at his home. Well, your h could always return it and that should take care of it...but the shipping will need to be paid and no, you aren't responsible for that either. It all happened on your h's watch. I'm sorry, but I think this is funny as heck because your h comes running to you about his account.
Oh, well...another day in drama ville for your h.

I think the dune buggy is hilarious. S knows how to get his dad's attention, huh??
I hope you said to him, "I appreciate you telling me, but I'm afraid this isn't my problem to fix." Does he still think you are available to him whenever he needs to unload?
Is he going to claim the dune buggy as a marital asset? Lol.
Or, will he ask that you reimburse him for half?????!! Then, file contempt when you don't?
Doesn't everyone need a dune buggy?
