Why is GALing so difficult?! LOL!!! I have so many great ideas and I can't find anyone to go along---- Bruce Springsteen concert in a couple weeks? YESSSSS! Oh, wait, none of my friends can go...
I do ALOT of things on my own, but I'm not sure I can pull that off-the safety issue would be the biggest concern. I'm so disappointed! He's on my concert bucket list, and neither of us is getting younger!! LOL oh, and then John Mellencamp is playing this summer...better start working on finding my co-pilot for that one now!!

Hi artsy. I know these past 2 weeks since ice ended have been hard on my GAL stuff too. Slowly adding things. You'll get there. Be patient with yourself. I think we all have those times.
I don't know about the fb stuff. I too am reluctant to join due to privacy issues.

Thanks, Paul- the main problem is my friends have families/obligations of their own... I've got a lot of free time to GAL, where they do not. Normally it wouldn't really bother me that much, but these are two events that I REALLY REALLY want to go to!!!!
I'm curious about the FB privacy thing, as well. I'm hoping some people who are on it can add some insight here...

Artsy, I understand. I am in the same uncomfortable place. I was part of a group of "married people" Now I'm not. although, my W left me alone so much during the M that I've really been this way for a while. Its just that people "get it" now. Where as before, they didn't understand why I had the free time when I was M.
