Oh I agree that the shopping trip should only be father and daughter. If you allow W to go, she will ruin it.
Since this shopping spree will be for daughter to get new duds, maybe at some point during the day you could suggest another trip for her to assist you with some new fashions to go with your new look (beardless face).
It is not about what you feel should work in your M. It is about doing the work that gets the right results. Do what works!
