No, I haven't heard anything since I texted him. That's ok. I suspect he is coming on Saturday to visit D11, so I probably won't hear anything until then.
I had a really nice day yesterday. Then, my car broke down at the end of the night at a gas station and my mom had to come get me. Stinks. Now, I'm trying to figure out how to get the Jeep home. I may have to have it towed to the gas station where the guy worked on it. And, I paid all the bills so, I have little in the bank until the next check clears tomorrow.
Called the gas station where it's sitting, let them know worse case scenario, I'll have it towed tomorrow morning. Gave them my number and name. I'll need to get the keys to the gas station for the tow truck guys. What a pain!!
In other news, I had a really nice date with the forester. I'm calling it a date. He's really fun and makes me laugh. I'm not thinking any further ahead than we had a nice time together, laughed, talked and we enjoyed each other's company. I learned more about him and he was definitely a stoner, before he had this major epileptic attack that put him in coma for four days last fall. He talked about how the marijuana settled his brain. It was so strange because I feel like he helped me see how none of this was the drug with Smokey, it was Smokey.
It was strange to have conversation about this stuff with someone who I don't have any real investment in his being one way or another. He was free to be himself and I was free to be a friend who listened, validated and gave my own opinion here and there. But, it was like I felt like he HAD to SEE IT MY WAY!! That was cool. He's someone who is really looking at himself right now and his life and sorting himself out. It's cool to meet a man who is taking that route instead of running from it all. Nice time.
And, yes, I'm being careful. No commitment or relationship...But, I told him I could use a good friend right now.
Eharmony is blowing up my computer! Been kinda fun. One guy gave me his number and asked if I would drive to Toronto for a visit. Um, No. But, I'm flattered. :-) Glad he doesn't know my real name.
Gotta go teach.
Did I mention I paid all my bills and I earned $1,600 this month, still have some money coming in too!!!
