The funny thing is, I bet that any of these WASs would be able to point out the hypocrisy in their statements if someone else had said them.
One of my favorites was when my H told me that he "had no choice" but to move out, because he had signed a lease and had to honor that commitment.
I filed for S after my H told me in no uncertain terms that he wants a D (he even used the term "irretrievably broken" to describe our M), sent me a proposal for division of assets, etc., and told me to hurry up and get back to him on it since he had to make some decisions about his life and career. (Ha!) After I filed, he told me that, by filing (for what he told me he wanted!), I (1) trashed our R; (2) betrayed him; and (3) damaged the trust between us. Also, I am a bad role model for our children and filing was childish.
Keep 'em coming, guys. I think we could write a bestseller.
