He's a very sick man and there's nothing I can say or do to change that. He needs to see it for himself. My buttons are getting pushed. He's trying to spread the wealth on his feelings. He feels lousy because he's let his kids down and by picking up the lump of guilt and sh!t he feels and placing it on my lap, it makes him feel better. If I reply, he will have succeeded in giving it to me.

I have enough on my plate right now. I'm going to continue breathing. My day was eventful and full and I don't need to try to rationalize with someone so far gone.

He is a smart guy and has the ability, hopefully, to sort the truth out for himself.

Replying, at least, so quickly, will not accomplish anything by way of my relationship with him or his relationship with the kids.
