GG-Mr. W. is not scheduled for any travel in the near future (read: next 30 days), so my schedule is kind of stable. I've got plans this weekend, but maybe 2 weeks? I'm sorry to hear about Dave, but I applaud you for paying attention.

Bug-While my standard answer would be, "It's 5 o'clock in Sochi", what's going on that you need a slamming desk icon? Feel free to vent here at the bar/pharmacy/dispensary...

BA-I was going to text you last night about the scumbag. I'm so glad you have some definitive steps forward to nail his ass. What a complete deviant. I'm a little stunned that he sent her a PM through FB. That dude is seriously messed up.

There is a *really* good chance he chose the teaching profession to allow him access to what he desires. It's not an accident, BA. I'm glad you were able to thwart his attempts before your daughter fell into his trap. Sicko.

And I'm glad you got some more positive news about your dad. Sounds like he's got a guardian angel that can take care of all of your needs right now.

Now, back to my sluggish professional life. I'm in a mode where nobody is calling me back, and nobody is closing their open projects (which, of course final payment to me occurs when this happens). I'm frustrated. I guess that means more quality time with my Keurig today. I have dinner plans tonight and tomorrow night with friends. Two nights in a row is nearly a record for me!

Hope everyone has a good Friday. And at least more productive than my week.

Betsey

Oh BA, my issues are miniscule, and usually have to with ...wait for it ex-pec-TATIONS! smile

The story about the student teacher made my stomach turn. I'm sure you're especially proud that your D15 did the right thing.

Bug - I got a timely message from the Daily OM that I copied on Melissa's thread...

GG - Do you have Saturday, the 22nd free? (That's my D19's 20th birthday...). Do you like southern rock? Here's where I admit to God and man that I have some deep rooted redneck roots. Atlanta Rhythm Section is playing at the Reserve Casino in Central City. Shows at 7 and 9. We *could* stay up there?

Thanks Bets! Just got off the phone with the Detective. The arrest and search warrants were in fact executed yesterday. The "sicko" is currently in jail. The detective said he was trying to downplay everything but they've got more than enough evidence to make his life miserable for quite some time. They are now processing paperwork to extradite him down here.

I only hope that this whole situation is tenfold more stressful for him than it is for us - because I have to tell you it has been extremely stressful for D15, my EX-W and me as welll.

For more reasons than one this is definitely a fine single malt scotch worthy night for me.

Hope you get some project closings sooner rather than later!

BA
