BA, I'm so very sorry about your dad. Thoughts and prayers are with you. I'm a fan of alternative treatments if there's any chance of that. My dad was diagnosed with lung cancer/leukemia in April 2006 and passed that same December, so I understand the shock, grief, etc.
Betsey, Let's have a party soon and celebrate getting out of the frigid temps! This week has been crazy cold and I got a touch of the flu on top of it all. But, I'm feeling better and tomorrow's Friday....
I said goodbye to Dave on Jan. 25. He didn't have the emotional depth I'm seeking and hadn't learned to love himself. He had jumped from relationship to relationship and it became apparent that he just wanted to get married...fast. I don't think it mattered to whom. After a hunch, my friend checked and he was right back on match.com. I'm happy to be going solo. I love my life and I'm busy with my friends and my work. I'll have it all in a relationship, or I'll cherish the relationship with myself instead.
I love checking in and following you all. So many great stories and sharing of lives. I'm just excited the Olympics are starting and I'm praying for safety there!!
