I can also see H is trying as well. H is friendly as well. Calls me when he could just text and he is making an effort when he does text, to answer all questions or comments. Usually doesn't comment on most of the text. H asks a lot of questions about BF.

Well so much for trying. Last night H called to say he has to work Thursday and can't go to the concert. What makes me mad is this was unexpected work and he has to work a double shift. He told his boss he had plans but didn't say tickets cost $300. Or even what he was doing. I know this is probably not his fault. However, this is so typical of how our marriage has been. H cancels or changes plans about 75% of the time. Expect if it was with his friend. That always takes place!! Just remind me how our marriage was and I can't do this another we years! H also said I don't know why your so upset I can't go? It's not like it was a date? He said it was wrong of me to say he'd go. We are divorcing!

He may not have a choice in working, especially if he informed the boss and the boss didn't change the schedule. As for the tickets, is there anyone else that can go w/you? You may be able to sell the ticket at the venue, but may have to take a loss.

I know but it's just so typical of him and our relationship. Funny thing is this is a friends business and he is just working temporarily until his Firefighter job is off freeze. Which it is and he starts next month. ... I am taking my S13 who is excited to come. Thanks.

Well I did a 180 and told H I was wrong and over reacted to him not being able to go. I was letting the past take over. I knew he didn't have a choice to work and I was sorry he would miss it. H was happy I was taking S14. We talked about going to another one in another state to see the concert. We are back to happy and chatty. Big step for me and H too. I need to be more understanding and not let the past creep in!!
