8/6 means in a 14 day period, I get them 8 overnights, H gets them 6. It isn't too much different than 50/50, but it puts me as the primary and majority parent which is what I wanted.
I have no idea what the heck that smell is. I think it might be mildew. When I was in the basement gathering stuff I noticed a musty smell. Our house was finished in 2006. It shouldn't have moisture issues, but I am thinking it does. The smell is extra strong in H's room, but I have noticed it on the kids and now on me! Yikes! I think it has a life of its own!~
AJ I hope you are right in your prediction. Not that I want H to be a "deadbeat dad" or have nothing to do with his kids, but I want as much time with the kids as possible. And H knows this and he will use it to his advantage until he thinks that he is giving me "too much" and then he will back off.
So last night H threatened to take the offer off the table and hash it out in court. Now he sends me an email saying we need to sit down and have a discussion. Hmmm...something or someone dissuaded him from going to the courts about this. Maybe he knows the courts will offer me something better than what he is willing to offer. Who knows? One more day and I am out of the house. It's bittersweet. Kind of sad. If I think about it too much I will cry.
Keep me in your thoughts. I think H is losing it even more if that's possible.
