Just to let you all know; my wife and I divorced yesterday. My heart is broken and I don't have words to explain the absolute pain I am in. I just wanted to take the time to thank you all for the support and advice you've given me over the last several months. I know my wife has some responsibility to assume in all of this, but I guess this divorce is really predicated on me reaping what I have sown for so many years. Sorry to hear that, but even D is not the end of things. Many couples reconcile after D. Sometimes WAS's need D before they feel the pressure is off of them, and sometimes that is when they start coming out of the fog. Just keep moving forward and working on you!
It's funny. You are one of about an half dozen people that have told me that. I'm not going to lie. I would love if she changed her mind. I love her that much, plus I believe that we are literally made one flesh when we are married. That is why I hurt so much. But like you said, I need to move forward. I can't wait on something that may not happen although I think I would embrace it if it did in fact happen. Thanks for your encouraging words.
