Our local vocational school does car repairs on the cheap. Not sure if that's an option, but I thought I'd mention it.

If there is a university nearby, you could put up a posting on a job board for moving help. I know it would be shortish notice, but, I also know from D19's college experience--college students are always looking for quick cash.

What about the church you have been attending. Sometimes you can post requests for help or even ask the minister if he/she has any suggestions.

I like the idea of hiring movers to just load the truck or unload. The beds can be taken apart.
