When I read that line I honestly slapped myself on the forehead. The rest of the convo is completely what I would have expected based on you two's history. Why, oh WHY do you keep reaching out to her? Do you like to be abused?
She saw it as me playing on her good nature and playing games. That definitely wasn't my intention. Reading it back I felt the same about the "triple checking", it makes me cringe. I don't like the abuse but I have to live with my actions and I wanted to give her and the cats one last chance.
